在今天的E3展前新闻发布会上，任天堂公布了首批第一方和第三方Wii主机游戏，共计70余款。

在任天堂自家游戏中，暂定名《Super Mario Galaxy》的新超级马里奥应该足以让玩家们兴奋不已，而《The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess》(塞尔达传说：黎明公主)将会称为Wii首发游戏与主机同步登场，并会在同日发布GameCube版。

其它经典游戏包括《Metroid Prime 3: Corruption》、《Fire Emblem》、《WarioWare: Smooth Moves》等，首次公布的新开发游戏则有动作游戏《Disaster: Day of Crisis》、赛车游戏《Excite Truck》、动作冒险游戏《Project H.A.M.M.E.R.》、体育游戏《Wii Sports》等等。

任天堂还表示，明天E3正式开幕之后，将会有27款第一方和第三方Wii游戏进行展示，并且都是可玩儿的。
